Creative Mumz organizes its meet ups/coffee mornings, alternatively in Dubai and Sharjah. Our motive is to indulge in interesting activities, workshops, art demonstrations, discuss up coming events and to have fun.
Dates and timings of upcoming meet ups will be announced through our newsletter.
Creative Mumz members conduct presentations and demonstrations with hands on sessions that help mums to improve their skills, and also nurture their child's academic, social and creative skills. This is a great service to mums who can benefit from personal development, parenting discussions, book reviews and art & craft demonstrations.
Some of the presentations and demos conducted at our meet ups are as follows:
1. Between Parent and Child: Powerpoint presentation on Constructive and Destructive Criticism conducted at our first meet up at Mega Mall Sharjah by Faryal Masood on 15th June 2006.
2. Webbing Method for Creative Writing: To help children improve writing skills. Conducted at a member's residence by Hashma Hamid on 16th of September 2006.
3. Cooking Demonstration: Crispy Chicken- Conducted at a member's residence by Shaista Asif on 16th of September 2006.
4. Wood Painting Demonstration: Decoupage and one stroke painting demonstration by Ozden Cicek on 4th of November 2006 at Sahara Centre.
5. Sketch Your Imagination: Interesting activity to sketch as you imagine while reading, presented by Sana Nayab.
6. First Aid Presentation: Powerpoint presentation on First Aid conducted by Mariam Masood on 25th January 2007 at Fabindia, Dubai.
7. Gift Pouches Craft Activity: Hands on craft activity conducted by Hashma Hamid on 25th January, 2007.
8. Products for Left Handers: A presentation was conducted by Lara Khouri about products for left handers.
9. Keep Busy Stay Happy: Interactive session for mums conducted by Faryal Amir at Bur Juman food court in March.
10. Lamasa Art Demonstration: Anjum demostrated Lamasa Art, soft toys and finger puppets at the March Meet up.
11. Complement More, Reprimand Less: Article Share by Sana Nayab at our Coffee Morning on 21st April.
12. Book Review: Book Review conducted by Mariam Masood on "The Fractured Mind".
13. Scrapbooking Demo: A scrapbooking demonstration by Faryal Masood at the coffee morning in Sharjah.

Book Buzz is a little book library for kids. It has a collection of interesting books for children,ages 3 - 10.
We at Creative Mumz feel that our kids should get the best of everything. Reading is a skill that helps children open doors to this world. It not only keeps them well informed but also hones their creative writing skills. We believe that books possess the appeal that can attract children towards developing the habit of reading. Thus we will be organizing reading days, when kids can come in and read their favourite books. Mums can read with their kids to help them develop this skill. Alternatively mums can grab a book for themselves and enjoy a good read with a cup of coffee.
